Apparently there's some publisher that pays writers to make books all with this general theme. Pick some historical event relevant to the US, and throw in a little girl "surviving" it. Amazon has 18 of them for sale. There's one about the trail of tears AND one about the mayflower. aah, its part of a larger education program. https://www.capstonepub.com/ yeah I guess, whatever. This is amazing work. As a student of history I have seen hundreds of pictures of dead bodies from 9/11 and have shown little to no emotion. The pictures were just windows of the past I've never lived in, people who I never knew and would never know. But this picture made me stop and evaluate. Putting a little white girl in it made me look at what is actually happening. Putting in something that everyone is familiar with in a situation that no one knows and to make people feel those emotions, well that takes amazing talent thank you.
