HAND UPDATE: my hand is no longer shaped quite the same, a couple knuckles are less prominent and there's a part of the top of my hand that kinda dips in now thinking about it or looking at it makes me feel an unease and discomfort deep in my soul despite it being barely noticeable to the eye also I have gone back to wearing the splint because my hand was starting to really hurt after a while of being free
