This kills the creek. ... and apropos of that ... We had a permit review that the EPA was hassling us about for some wetland impacts due to design of a new roadway (usually handled by the US Army Corps, or locally or at the state level, rare for EPA to get involved). We went to EPA's local district HQ and gave them a big presentation about how the impacts would be minimized, etc... And then at the end while we were standing around chatting one of their guys said, "You know while we were doing this we have permits we need to be working on for companies blowing up mountaintops and dumping the fill into high quality streams." Well, tell your colleague not to nitpick our highway projects then, fucko. I think their boss made the same comment to the reviewers and they stopped making comments on our project.
