Previous chicks were Pikelet in 2021 and Bubble and Squeak in 2022.

Looking for two names that work together as a matched set, as magpies typically lay ~3 eggs and I expect them to be able to raise 2 chicks to fledge and leave the nest

My dad rescued a pair and had them for a couple months. I doubt he did 2-hourly feedings, but they were great to play with. They then went to a wildlife refuge where they lived out there days. but having a kit climb all over you and explore everything is some awesome poo poo.

I kind of forgot about this channel, but was going through old bookmarks. Love it. The whole video is great, but I started at a memorable point:

There’s a guy who does rock/metal guitar set to things like this, and last night I just happened to listen to his accompaniment to this particular video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-nqtKUlYrQ

His accompaniment to the Nooran Sisters of India is pretty rad too:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mi106DZJhuQ

They make for interesting pairings, but also, they showcase some really talented musicians from around the world that most people here might not otherwise hear. Which reminds me, I really need to listen to more gamelan again.

I’ve seen a lot of those because I’ve looked up throat singing after hearing clips and needed more! It rocks.

I also have a soft spot for super “trashy” edm vibes so this hit great. https://youtu.be/9uMtnH7cABg

I never understood ASMR people until I start listening to this sort of stuff. It works great for meditation, for me, at least.
maybe just the primal-ness? Like they've been singing like this for thousands and thousands of years.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAua3u3DXfU

Man, the looks of pure joy that little girl gets just kills me. Plus, when dude starts hitting those high pitched Whirring noises, that's an unreal part of throat singing I've never understood. It's amazing.
