See, his claws have silicon sheaths. So all he has to do is run those boys through an autoclave and he's perfectly sterile.

Unfortunately, pretty much all of this has been retconned, except for the names of the bones (unless Marvel bones are extra special).

You've just given me a vision of a dark dystopian future where Marvel, via Disney, retcons the humerus and the coccyx.

Wolverine probably could autoclave his hands, but I think that might be a trifle much to expect in Aunt May's kitchen.

Per recent contractual negotiations, all Disney and Disney-affiliated workers are now contractually obligated to, upon injury to the newly-renamed "Goofy bone", exclaim "Ya-ha-ha-hooey!"

I figure Wolverine oughta have Popeye/Luke-sized forearms both to house the knives and articulate them/keep them from getting ripped out like hangnails.

So are Wolverine's claws flat like knives, or tubular like icicles? In the movies they have a triangular shape. What gives?

Lobok
Jul 13, 2006

Say Watt?

They used to be more tubular, like an actual animal's claws/talons, but then different art styles and eventually the movies turned them into blades.

poo poo, I remember when they were segmented, and collapsed down on themselves rather than being solid blades.

Yeah, if you look at the Frank Miller pic inset next to the skeleton diagram, you can see he was drawing them as blades in the 80s.

Eh. It had potential, but devolved into magical super powers and battle shonen stuff pretty quick, and then the ending was basically a giant "TO BE CONTINUED i guess sure whatever" that didn't resolve poo poo. So far as I know, the follow up manga also ends with "TO BE CONTINUED eventually maybe whatever".

Also the creepy brother complex stuff and all the rest of that.

Why is Johnny's costume red? I think #136 is a little but after I stopped reading early F4 (the quality really dropped off once Kirby left, in a way that didn't happen when Ditko left Spider-Man, so I only read like a dozen issues before giving up).
