I've been a little busy of late, haven't had a chance to upload any Brain pictures (or video). Today is Brain's 1st birthday! According to his adoption paperwork, he was born on August 15th, 2022 (we got him in November of 2022). At his last vet visit, he weighs 9.10 pounds.  Everyone's still at standoff distance. Pudding and Vasco are sorta the best about getting along. Bonbon is stressed and angry as hell about the changes and is taking it out on me and Pudding while avoiding Vasco as much as possible :v Vasco for his part is very sweet and slow blinking at everyone. :3 Him and Pudding did have a mutual hiss off and one of them was chittering at the other? I was putting dishes away last year, went to take a piss, came back to the kitchen and started like cleaning up the counter and heard this weird sound and it took me like 10 seconds to realize Quill had jumped up on the bottom tray of the dishwasher and knocked it/herself into the machine, and the door slammed shut. She was in there in the pitch dark lashing out and I felt so goddamn horrible after I realized and let her out. She was okay and mostly just kinda pissed. She still tries to climb in.

 puppy has learned to go up stairs, but not down. she also won't get close enough to the cats to walk past them if they're looking at her (she'll get brave and sniff them when they're not looking). meanwhile, the cats similarly won't get close enough to pass so this led this situation (though I think Rocco was happy to block her)
