I saw Sleep at a bar with a stage whose limit is 300 one time and it was great, watching from the front of the balcony was basically being at the back of the pit with a better view.

Atomic Ape was the opening act. My brother, our friend and I made sure to get front of the balcony for that one. We get Sleep at Launchpad and Om at Sister and poo poo like that in Albuquerque because Al lives in Rio Rancho so he'll book the small and smaller clubs as the last days or breather days of their tours and do something special. 4/20 last year Sleep were at Sunshine and Al played his double-headed bass live for the first time. October was Om at Sister and they closed with a new track. Al likes drinking beers at all the small places that book local shows so you'll run into him here and there when he's around if you go to shows with 20 attendants. That was a fun show! yeah well i saw muse once and i ddint even know who they were  no seriously i was 16, it was the first arena show i went to and they were before the foo fighters and the chili peppers with the arena lights barely dimmed, nothing really going on a/v wise at best some of the sound system was on so no one was really paying attention to them especially not me
