The RS Archer account seems like a perfect outrage bait machine for conservatives - it embodies everything they hate about stereotypical liberals - elitist, snobby, arrogant, disdainful towards "the common man" - with no redeeming qualities. The article says it's made to appeal to Remainders, but I think that's a naive reading.

If you were angling for pure conservative outrage bait, then being pro-trans would be an easy swing. But deciding that trans activists are something to be ridiculed, that puts it squarely in 'saying everything milquetoast British moderates want to hear' territory. Of course, that's assuming it's fully intentioned; it might be that most of it's an act but the mask slips on occasion.

They worked so hard in that movie to make live action and animation work together, and it's perfect. Did the penguin waiters at the Pen and Ink Club need to carry real trays? Probably not, but it's impressive.

It makes the animation infinitely harder because the light source is constantly changing in direction and intensity. In animation, "bumping the lamp" is now the standard term for "doing something you don't have to, but it's so good you do it anyway."

You have to understand that we're now in a post human cognition media environment. The algorithms determine what is popular, the creators crunch the numbers and determine that doing x and y increases numbers by z%, the actual content is consumed by toddlers and robots, and talking about it, analyzing it, or watching it just reinforces it.
