It got translated a few years ago. Anyway I tried to play like 5 minutes of TCG and my brain is way too small for that stuff. Gorgeous Gameboy game though.

the only thing i remember from the tcg gb game is that the fire gym cheeses you really hard with chancey spam, where they can negate all damage on a coin flip while they power up their other pokes lol it made me cry as a child

I think I used chansey in my deck when I played as a kid. I liked all the cute pokemon. I was in a card league at toys r us and you would have a trainer book and earned stamps, after a certain number you get a badge. I felt like hot poo poo when I got all 8. I got a game boy late and really couldn’t afford many games, I would have loved tcg as a kid.
