when they say "we have the tools" they're talking about pax and maybe remdesivir my doctor didn't even know about paxlovid. friends' doctors didn't even have the slightest thought to even test for covid. yet the baseline for cases is estimated based on wastewater higher than several previous peaks. vaccine efficacy is in the toilet. regarding hoarding, with the consistent level of gatekeeping, by the time it's obtained it will often be beyond the 5 day cutoff. regarding sharing of information---this poo poo should be shouted from the rooftops because how the hell else is anyone going to know how to protect themselves with the only tool reactive tool that's available? this isn't "i'm going to do something illegal," it's (paraphrasing previous OP) "here's a list of interactions and contraindications, check with your dr esp. if you have kidney/liver issues, here is apparently the only way to obtain this critical medicine in a timely fashion."
