The showing was packed with horny students looking for porn and angry activists looking for something to yell at. I don't think either group left feeling like they got exactly what they wanted.

so in my latest post in the series "some guy itt really hates the man in the high castle" it occurs to me that this show is weirdly prescient about january sixth by which i mean the show acts as if taking down a government is super easy like a few dozen idiots with guns can pull off ludicrously effective empire destroying maneuvers by just like occupying buildings and shooting people its actually a really good comment on the cargo cultesque approach liberals have to protest you do nonviolent marches if you like your country and only want to change little things and going violent to any degree at all is the nuclear option and something to only ever be considered if you consider the government to be straight up illegitimate
