India timed the landing to start of the lunar day to get most out of their solar panels.

Forgot about the tidally locked long day. Yeah, that would definitely limit your launch window for a specific landing area. I was thinking more of just the "Get into orbit" phase, but yeah--no sense leaving it parked there when you could just time the launch better. You can do some crazy Expanse-course-plotting stuff with a tiny injection motor, if you have the patience for it.
