I again say, I would not mind more Emi Sakura on TV and I would certainly not mind her wrestling for the women's world championship at Wembley, because she would be a drat sight better than two of the people that made it into that match, but I still do not at all understand this idea that there is some great necessary imperative to book her on Wembley just because she likes Freddie Mercury. A lot of people like Freddie Mercury.

I didn't get Emi's whole deal at first but that all turned around during the women's tournament Shida booked. Emi goes hard in the paint and can pull good matches out of drat near anyone through pure force of will, and as someone who enjoys good wrestling matches I'd like to see her on TV more.

I think the difference is that Hammerstein was an actively disastrous show in terms of what happened in ring as well as the booking, and I think this show isn't nearly so questionable. That said I do think there is a parallel in that anyone who points to All In as a sign AEW is doing great is missing the forest for the trees. Or in this case one very large tree that is hiding view of a bunch of dying ones. I've never really gotten this metaphor tbh
