2 cm error on a build like that would be huge, but I guess they're just covering themselves.

Thanks for reminding me of an old project converting them to RC control that I of course haven't finished yet:

Jersey ordered and received from DHGate - seems good and legit, and less than $20. Got here about 2 weeks earlier than expected too.

I need some that can unfuck my low back from sitting too much for the same thing. Periodic zaps to make me stand up might suffice, really.

Jel Shaker
Apr 19, 2003

they do sell some which are aimed at the lower neck rather than the back, but these things don’t really have any effect on muscle mass, they’re more for improving small vessel blood flow / might help nerve pain

my solution for lower back pain while sitting at the desk was to get a standing desk unfortunately

i bought a dickload of miniature trees for like $40 after shipping. seriously like 180 HO and N scale trees. they're probably gonna look not great but i'm gonna fancy them up and use them in my terrain making. it's too much work to make your own but also really good high quality ones are ludicrously expensive. will report back to the thread in like a month once they get here lmao

I was offered "pay after delivery" as an option on my order. I guess that saves them the credit card fees when they inevitably refund it.

This is a scooter built by Ultimate Rebuilds on YouTube, in fact that’s a picture at his house. So I’d say big scam alert.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a thermal printer? I remember someone posting some in here for printing stickers they put in their journal and that’s exactly what I’d like right now (sometimes I type out notes because my brain is moving faster than a pen can write and it’d be cool to be able to print these and stick ‘em in with the rest of my brain-dumps).

This one might need explanation for some folks. There are strapless backless bras that use sticky silicone to stick to skin. They can't provide any lift, but you put them on and then clip them together so they gather things in the front. They also usually have a bit of padding to help things look rounder.

HNNNNNGG!!
Does anybody else do this: I find a random small item that I need maybe two or three of, it'll have a shipping price of $2 for one unit, but when I add an additional item it jumps the shipping cost up to something like $8, and if I add a third one it jumps up again to something like $13. So rather than buy three items together for $13 s&h, I buy each one three times and spend $6 total on s&h instead of $13.

Is this a common trick? Should I feel bad? Am I abusing the system in a way that is frowned upon and will ultimately get me banned?

I posted before about buying that exact printer! It just uses a regular inkjet cartridge. You probably shouldn't eat it, even if it's very small amounts. Ostensibly you can tattoo yourself but all I got was a weird blue streak on my arm. For a while I used it at work as a variety of custom stamps, but the firmware was so loving bad I gave up. You have to connect to it as a source of wifi and then edit whatever you want to print in a browser before sending it, it's tedious as gently caress. Also the printhead dries out constantly.

If someone ever makes a bluetooth version that lets me print from a spreadsheet I'm buying it because I've learned nothing.
