Advances are pretty weak for upcoming shows besides All Out. I still expect them to maintain around 4000 or so in the building but that's the major one.

The big shows do fine but the tickets for the weekly TV aren't looking great. There is evidence to suggest that AEW is simply becoming a company that does a lot of late and walk-up business, too. But they're still capping out at around 4,000-5,000 for most of their weekly TV, which isn't great.

Creative stuff is more subjective obviously, but there's been a lot less long-term stuff and a lot more sloppiness lately. It's pretty embarassing that they had to change two matches on their biggest show ever five days out.

I think some of the AEW worry is overblown as Tony clearly runs the company as a business and isn't gonna burn money like saw WCW/ECW nor are we gonna get a TNA lol booking....

But there are red flags that do need to get worked on including working on attendance, getting Collision ready to survive the college football season and talent relations.

Nobody with a brain is actually worried that AEW is gonna go anywhere. Their TV ratings are still strong, they're gonna get a billion dollars from Turner and that's going to secure their existence as a top-level wrestling promotion for years to come.

I think what people are worried about is that we're already past the peak.

I just hope no one at All In takes a big poopy in their tights and it leaks out and they’re smushing it all in the ring while they’re wrestling. That would be really embarrassing for AEW

Tony jogs down the ramp waving to the ALL IN crowd and trips halfway down, peeing his trousers and everyone points & laughs.

Yeah, they're still going to be around. My red flags are all the stupid pre-tapes becoming more prominent!

Weekly TV is doing historically very well for pro wrestling. WCW in 1996 had a 3,600 average attendance. Vs AEW's own history this summer went really well even with a few weak live events since even at their strongest they had a weak gate mixed in (Miami stands out during their hottest run) and early on they were doing paid crowds in the high 2,000s mixed for several shows.

Serious answer: she was one of the trainers that made Joshi wrestling what it is today as little impact it has in american wrestling

Then argue for her based on that. The idea that she has more right to wrestle at Wembley or more right coming out to Queen music than Saraya, somebody who's actually from the country Queen is from, is patently absurd.

No, they think that she has a gimmick that for a long time was strongly referential of her love for Queen and Freddie Mercury. I think people are massively overreacting and being foolish but this isn't invented out of whole cloth.

idk if emi ever stood up and talked to Tony but Saraya was the best known women's wrestler until the NXT Four Horsewomen happened and I'm fine with Saraya getting her flowers because she lost most of her career to a bunch of unlucky happenstance.
