He was hospitalized last week because of it, and the morning of his death he was at the doctor for a follow up appointment. He was given an external defibrillator to wear in case of sudden cardiac arrest. Police found it in his car. It's not a guarantee that the device would have saved his life even if he was wearing it, but he would have stood a better chance. He went to his bedroom to take a nap and Jojo found him not breathing and blue.
