They wasted Luanne on Lucky!

She could of have been so much more but the writers just didn't care!
The Patriots would have won XLVI had they not cut WR Tiquan Underwood and his sweet high top fade 24 hours before the start of the game lol. The coldest cut ever.

That’s about all it’s worth these days. They’ve cut a lot of coverage after the NYT bought them out. If they still cover your team it’s nice but I know they dumped a lot of good people over the last couple of months.

I mean you do need to put in a new culture and system, it makes sense to have some guys on the roster to help the rest of the team figure it out.

That offer is for new subscribers, not returning ones. The Packers have only one reporter (Schneidman) covering them and the broad-NFL coverage doesn't seem noticeably or remarkably better than what I can find elsewhere. I like Schneidman but there's only so much one person can write in a given week.

SBNation's Packers blog genuinely has more coverage and more in-depth coverage, including a bunch of all-22 film analysis, snap counts, etc.

Baseball specific but Meg Rowley (FG) noted that like most of the division leading teams (Baltimore, Minnesota. Texas) and relevant teams don’t have staff writers anymore and it really shows in what level of coverage you get

Seconding the “check to make sure your team has an assigned writer” bit.

Kickers are funny because they're almost all interchangeable, but in the bad way where they're mostly random year to year. And then some get the yips and never unfuck it and nobody knows how to coach them.

So that's how you end up getting a draft pick for a 38 year old dude with a dead leg who's at least a bit reliable.

Still better than the kickers the Titans were rolling with during preseason. If he can be halfway consistent and can occasionally make a kick from 50 yards he'll be our best kicker since Succop (who I'm still bitter about cutting several years ago, but at least he got a ring out of it).

The erosion of kickers just means more teams should go for it after they cross the 50.

Yeah it's a 7th in 2 years, whoooooo cares. I just find it funny because kickers are so much more vibes then actual athletic ability. But if you whiff and get a bad kicker for the year it could get your rear end fired.
