I think Sisi was taken down well before the gate stuff? They didn't explain why, just that it would come back up, with no particular schedule, and now decided it won't come back up and will only be used for specific testing.

I'm playing this game again. For the third or fourth time in my life I am doing low sec lv4 faction warfare mission running. There are better activities, but I always really wanted to get a stealth bomber set up to do it because it is neat. Amarr used to have so much more volume! It's a pretty miserable backwater now. I played just during the citadel release, so before the path was cut off and during the transition to citadels eating up all the manufacturing/trade volume. I never played before the disconnect between Caldari and Amarr space, but it has always struck me as a bizarre choice, both from a gameplay and a lore perspective. It's as though the primary transportation link between London and Paris has become a haven for piracy, and the respective governments just shrug.

There are better activities, but I always really wanted to get a stealth bomber set up to do it because it is neat. you can join a corp and be antisocial tbh if nothing else it gets you a homebase and an intel network to play safer while solo on the rare occasion i log into the game i do a lot of wormhole solo stuff and having pathfinder to scan/map out holes is absolutely invaluable, and just by being logged into it you generate a map of wormholes and their connections, for an example

I helped a cute newbie kill Kritsan Parthus and Dagan in the SoE epic arc when they shouted for help in local a few weeks ago. It was a very wholesome interaction between strangers in an otherwise rather toxic game, but it sticks out for that reason.

I met a SPORK guy doing amarr plexes, after it finished i dmed him “wanna do the other novice now?” And then we spent the rest of the evening grinding plexes. It was fun, even if we didn’t talk much it did take the edge off of the grind. Stopped playing not long after, but i think i friended him so maybe we shall see each other again someday.
