He's from the era where they kept trying to do kharacters that were basically just "Kano but a little different" instead of just using Kano, and he's arguably the least interesting of the lot. Another aspect is that his visual design was... unfortunate.

Probably the only other mild point of interest about him is that he's one of three Red Dragon clan kharacters in the series, the others being... Mavado and Daegon. Not really a sterling track record, huh?

Yeah the marketing here is really bizarre No official trailer for the invasion mode? No trailer for the last characters? Absolutely nothing about the gear customization poo poo? Steam page and official site can't make up their minds about whether it has crossplay or not? I guess they want leaks to do the heavy lifting, copies are out in the wild now

On one hand stunt casting is inherently cringe but on the other hand Ronda Rousey is such a bad actress that it lowered my expectations so I just go "eh could be worse I guess" to this.

They're pulling a lot from the 3D era in this game and Nitara was one of the characters from that era that people look back on and think "hey, she was alright".

Megan Fox is, at the very least, an actual actor with acting experience. Ronda Rousey was not and the results were painful. I’m sure this will be fine. I also heard the game leaked and some people are posting the roster online, but I haven’t seen anything. I was  Nitara was one of my favorite characters from 3d, I liked the move where she bit the opponents neck and regained health it looked gnarly on my gamecube. Edit: and I guess at least Megan Fox is an actual MK fan, but still I dont like celebrity casting for this stuff!!

Imma be honest. I don’t know about this one guys. The tag assist stuff, the weird marketing or lack thereof. The roster. It just all feels very ho hum. I got a ton of mileage out of 11 which felt jam packed and throughly excellent. I’m worried this one isn’t gonna really live up to it.
