I immediately maxed out that game as soon as it unlocked and I got hit real hard with "ludonarrative dissonance" when the money troubles of the main plot were contrasted with Ichiban managing a multi-billion-yen corp lol

RBA Starblade posted:Isn't that just Mortal Kombat i couldn't tell you the finer mechanical differences between them, but SF6 is meant to be very approachable for new players and has a more stylized anime aesthetic, whereas MK is still trying to emulate that more realistic style the original mocap was going for and still has a heavy emphasis on the whole "isn't it badass watching a guy's skull break in half" thing

Tried out a number of stuff at PAX, but the hands down best was Thank Goodness You're Here. Likely will be mostly a walking simulator but with amazing animations, voice actors and jokes about the British.

Just release the game half finished. The people who whine incessantly about unfinished games will be whining about it no matter what and nobody else really cares. Most people don't even finish any game they play, here's a protip: only make the first half of your game. For 75% of players they'll never know.
