I love the idea these people have that Punk was amazing for business when there's nothing to really suggest he had much of a long term impact in viewership or ticket sales afaik

Tony Khan keeps problematic pissbaby on the roster to entice media partner to give them a second show. Has MJF/Cole on the new show and the ratings go up hopefully soothing fears from media partner about losing problematic pissbaby. Fires problematic pissbaby. Now has no problematic pissbaby AND a new tv show. Sounds like a genius promoter to me.

Every time I've been to an AEW show there hasn't really been a good time to grab anything from there anyway. Beforehand they don't have anything set up and during the show I'm only nipping out to use the bathroom if that, and at the end it's already been taken down.

I wanted to check out the merch stand at All In, but the queue on the way in was like 45 minutes, and it was growing on the way out, so we didn't. Would've loved a "I was there" shirt but alas.

Even the lines Saturday at the fan event were pretty silly, the ones at the event itself were insane. The stand nearest our exit afterwards was completely empty when we left the venue so my wife insisted on making one last pass that ended up costing me more than the hotel and tickets for the weekend combined  At least they seemed to have learned from complaints at previous ppvs and brought plenty of stuff with them, I can’t imagine how much they must have taken on merch alone. Tons of people walking around with the legit replica belt in it’s little dust cover.

Kenny Omega loving owns. Has an incredible match, puts over Takeshita huge, then drinks funny (which is a recurring bit, mind you) and gets all the Punk stans to lose their minds online. AEW is so loving back, we just need someone to think there's a thinly veiled shot at Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns hidden in the next BTE and we're golden.
