What was the consensus on Dredge? Been playing it at work and I'm kinda, yeah I like it on the whole but it's not quite what I was hoping somehow, maybe like the lovecraft stuff feels kinda unoriginal for 2023?? I'm in what I assume is the last section of the game and the tasks required of me are kinda boring too, not necessarily grindy but still time-consuming and easy

SNESdrunk revisits Metal Warriors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGlx2doSI-g&hd=1 Metal Warriors is such an insane game. it makes you think of cybernator, but it's made by lucasarts of all people and published by konami. the cutscenes were insane for an SNES game and the mechanics of how the mechs worked and being able to get in and out of them to get into different mechs mid-level ruled like look at these cutscenes! they blew my mind as a kid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sz8jTaaqsNY&hd=1 I got the game from a rental store that was going out of business and they even gave me the manual. years later I sold it for like $300 because it turned out it was an obscenely under-printed cartridge so was worth a ton, and I also sold the manual for 80 bucks because that thing's even rarer than the game itself Captain Invictus fucked around with this message at 21:36 on Sep 5, 2023 |

The worst thing about Dredge is that you leave the starting town and have almost no reason to return, so that takes a lot of the personality with it when it goes

Looking through the Xbox Backwards Compatibility sales items for this week and grabbed Beyond Good and Evil HD (because it's almost certainly being delisted when that 20th anniversary version comes out), Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey so I have even more copies of those now.
