It's really unfortunate that it took giving up our best receiver to have a chance at a quarterback who isn't dogshit, which means said quarterback has no receivers  Might change my mind depending on how this season goes, but I'd love to see us prioritize WR in next year's draft.

Brain death exams are different by state, but in North Carolina it requires two similar exams 36-48 hours apart. It's the same exam both times. Even if the first exam is positive, they're not legally dead until the second one. I imagine it's even more drawn out in Florida.

Chris Godwin hasn't got an amazing injury history and the rest of the offense isn't exactly set with established skill position guys. I can see why they might want to squeeze and see how the first four weeks go. If you end up somehow 4-0 you might want him for the rest of the run, if you're 0-4 and you're going to lean into the rebuild...
