I did not agree with him on much, but I can't deny that he was a good person and he cared a whole hell of a lot for commander and making a place for people who didn't feel like they fit in with other formats. Dude was responsible for forging a community that, while constantly at each others' throats, probably wouldn't exist without him, at least not in the capacity of the most popular and most fun way to play magic.
