Come on now, two months? We all know reaching the threshold is defined as two consecutive quarters of decline in a country's gross domestic product

Come on now, two consecutive quarters? We all know that was just tradition and not a hard defined rule or anything. It's impossible to say if we actually are above 1.5C as a mere 6 month period could be an anomaly.

Phil Eklund makes the best loving games that are basically unplayable unless you can somehow find several people willing to put up with the pain of playing several 4+ hour "learning" games to get to the point where you actually know what the gently caress is going on.

I've never played High Frontier but the Pax games are stupidly fun and it makes me sad that I'll probably never play them again.

Breaches it for a day, then drops back down to 1.1°C for the duration of the decade. We still have time.

When the climate crisis renders large parts of even the developed world ungovernable due to the unrest, deprivation, and migration, we'll destroy the ozone layer too because now people can spray as much CFCs as they please.

Good news! we haven't fixed that and it's not even getting better except in the most hilariously farcical models that pretend we'll actually start doing something about it eventually

E: also the only reason we did anything at all was dow's patent had expired and they had a patent on a new, worse refrigerant and of course we had to mandate corporate profits.

I run a casino. In my casino, the die are weighted, there's magnets in the roulette table and the cards are marked. This is perfectly fair because any individual outcome was possible with unweighted die, so you can't say you lost because I cheated. It's just luck!

Of course, this has no relevance to this thread whatsoever.
