Have they already started production? I would assume Glover’s part of SAG and thus would be involved with the strike

A real hellraiser

I noticed Hera's rear end as well but I didn't really think about if it was because of the cinematography focusing on it, I just assumed the blame there lied with me.

We need a thread consensus on the rear end. Should we look at it? Turn our heads away? Cancel our Disney+ subscriptions?

Look, just don't jerk off to it, but if you do make it the live action and not the cartoon.

I've looked at the rear end but I also don't think it's especially gratuitous

It's mostly a funny thread meme

It is a nice rear end. If you are going to be looking at an rear end it is a solid choice. However, Star Wars is not just asses, so please look at other things, too. Also, feel free to make lightsaber noises and pewpew noises if you feel like it.

Solid advice, all around.

On the matter of butts in Alliance/New Republic flight suits, do the current costumes look a little dumpy and ill fitting? I don't remember them looking like a nylon sack back in the old days.

I did notice the flightsuit looking pretty bad on the old fighter pilot guy when he was walking around in this episode. If he's going to be in everything give him a costume that fits

I do agree that the pilot, and especially the opening scene, just didn't work as an introduction to the show. If they don't come up with a sensical reason to explain why the current whereabouts of a single guy are embedded in a magical rock buried thousands of years ago, it really will destroy the show (for me).

I'm enjoying the series a lot but I can't f'ing stand the mystery box bullshit that has spread like a cancer to a lot of current media.

I think the map logistics kind of make sense once you weave in various sources of exposition from across the first 3 episodes and make some basic inferences, but yeah it's probably too convoluted.

Except for the bad guys apparently being willing to risk losing it in a nuke, it seems like that made no sense and risked aborting their whole plan

That intro should have been Doctor Aphra finding it and Ahsoka waiting up top, takes it, then they both get jumped by HK's

Vinylshadow
Mar 20, 2017

Still baffled that they haven't had Ahsoka meeting Aphra in the comics set during the OT, or...anything animated with Aphra, really

Could've had them go meet the furry gravity skeleton rather than kidnapping Luke for the job

Wonder how Ahsoka reacted to the opening of the Fermata Cage and the Force breaking (well, for Luke, anyway. Vader got supercharged and is having a grand ol' time)

I mean, I guess it also helps the galaxy not feel so small, I guess? At least one aspect where two mediums are wholly separate so everyone isn't meeting everyone else

The idea is that the Zeffo artifact has information on how to get to the other galaxy where Thrawn happens to be, not Thrawn himself.

Now, how close it's supposed to be able to pinpoint a location in a gigantic fuckoff distant galaxy is a different question :orb:

There's a scene in the holiday special where Chewie's dad is watching porn in the living room. The actress is dressed up like a cross between Dionne Warwick and the Sorceress from He-Man.

You do have to wonder if chewie's centrist beliefs had developed by the time of the holiday special, or if that was only where he arrived later in life

The originals also weren't nylon, they're cotton/polyester. The nylon ones are a weird choice honestly, because it means they had these fancy shiny ones just before the assault on the Death Star, then suddenly cotton ones until just after the war, when they went back to the nylon.
