Unity has done something super lovely, possibly illegal, and nobody wants to have their game on an engine that will charge you a fee when someone installs your game. Their CEO is the ex-EA guy who suggested paying for in-match reloads of your gun in Battlefield, and they've got really lovely people on their board who sold a fuckton of their stock before the announcement. It's... bad, and Unity is far from the only engine out there.

Yeah like half of Sarah Z's schtick has always been her being raised by tumblr. The only time I can tell when something was written by Sarah or her co-writer that's not explicitly called out is when there's some remark about a shonen or seinen anime in the script.
