In the same way I wouldn't read it that everyone in the top left is some kind of racist national front skinhead (though that's usually where racist national front skinheads end up), it's that they're pro-NHS, pro public utilities, pro everyone who's willing to do a solid day's work being able to afford housing, but easily spooked by the smallest of boats, or have superstitious ideas about the purpose of 'nations'.
