I keep forgetting this and almost remembered but kept trying to put an ie on the end of it and couldn't figure it out. In my defense I rarely have a need to use it for NFL threads given my rooting interests.

My wife, who is from the Pittsburgh area and is a big football fan who has an inexplicably strong stomach for footage of gruesome injuries. She usually will give a blase', "Ooo," and that's about it. I'd described Chubb's injury to her over text while she was at her evening meeting but when she got home she was sitting on the couch looking at her phone checking her messages and such when I caught her literally wince like someone had punched her. She saw the pictures and I've never seen her react to an injury in a football game like that. I'm a pussy about that kind of thing after going through Theisman/Krumrie/McCallum live (not to mention Clint Malarchuk in hockey) but she's an iron gut and this one got to her.
