think about Punk reading Effy's tweet all alone (except for his wife and dog) in his house (in LA that cost $4 Million), not so funny now huh?

I'd make a joke about Phil turning to his attractive wife and complaining they're making fun of him on the internet but that might actually happen.

I finally deleted Twitter because of this; my timeline was literally just filled with absolute nobodies all but calling Effy slurs for daring to not like CM Punk, then getting angry if anyone even slightly pushed back.

I'm excited for a new era of pro wrestling excellence as I'll no longer be getting angry about twitter hot takes.

Still not sure, honestly.

The idea that wrestling ever looked like real fights is so funny to me. These people are really revealing that they’ve never seen a real fight (professional or street fight) ever.

Even if you take that post's analysis of the match at face value (I don't necessarily disagree all that much), it's essentially saying "A solid-not-spectacular match whose reach exceeded its grasp, held in one of the least important spots on the card, featured references to the past that were of questionable value to the actual product" and acting like that's a scathing indictment

Yeah with the exception of the opener I don't see an issue with the post. And I would argue it's 85% AEW 15% Wardlow. He wasn't elevating what they gave him but like what they gave him wasn't compelling TV anyway. He deserved better and Hobbs deserved better.

I haven't really heard anything about AEW that would suggest they micromanage people to that degree, though
