I think the cheetah might have gotten a faceful of quills at 0:37. At that moment it lunges forward at the same time as the rightmost porcupine suddenly turns, and then it seems to recoil. Throughout the rest of the video it occasionally twists its head back to rub its face against its body, as if it is trying to pull/scrape the quills out.

African porcupines don't have barbed quills that come out like that, they're just pointy. Probably still unpleasant to get a face full of them like that leopard did though.
