i download podcast mp3's manually from the particular podcast website and play them in a normal-rear end music player i only listen to like 2 podcasts though and they barely update more than once or twice a month so it's fine

so im hearing reports that this year the grace hopper conference, meant to celebrate women and nonbinary people in tech, is somehow full of undergraduate men who are pushing, shoving, cutting in line, etc to get the chance to speak to recruiters. there are videos of hordes of very male presenting dudes waving resumes at recruiters, not a woman in sight probably doesnt mean anything about the state of the tech industry

there's councils, there's events [they're a huge sponsor of the grace hopper conference] there's internship programs, targeted recruiting, etc. and while my friend personally got dozens of women into google net net their recruiting funnel is still 95% top50bscs dudes
