I know everyone is highly invested in the Twins' chase for the #2 seed in the AL so here is the single scenario where that works out Twins win out to finish 89-73 Mariners sweep the Rangers, both teams finish 89-73 Houston loses at least two games to the Diamondbacks to finish with 74 or 75 losses. Texas would still win the tiebreak vs Seattle in this scenario because they are currently 8-1 on the season, and then as the division winner they would lose the tiebreak with Minnesota. If Houston gets into the tie mix then Seattle wins the division because they would have the highest combined winning percentage against the other two teams, and Minnesota loses the tiebreaker with Seattle.

I feel fortunate I was able to attend last night’s Braves game, and it felt even better having dansby’s brother sitting behind me. Seemed like a nice guy, kept a notepad to jot plays down for some reason though.
