This reminds me of the air crash investigation videos I watch. Pilot misinterprets some generic confirmation from the air traffic controller and they drive their plane into a loving concrete barrier. I totally believe this happened. It’s bad system design. At least the fix seems easy enough to deploy.

The reason Liverpool benefitted so much from VAR decisions is because the refs were biased against Liverpool (as we all knew) and the cameras proved it. Anyway, the VAR officials involved yesterday are getting the rest of the weekend off to think about what they've done so I'm sure they've learned their lesson now: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/66976232
