It's this, and the image through the glasses is what the No campaign is trying to project as the Yes campaign's true agenda.

Also, the glasses:

Whenever I think "I will read this one" I skim down and first see the begging for donations lines and decide that no, I won't read it after all and I'm an idiot to even consider it, so it kind of helps me to leave those in there.

The No campaign is hinged on Indigenous Australians being strong and weak- The Voice will achieve nothing so why are we wasting time and money on a referendum, but it will also open the door to a Blackfella Dictatorship when Treaty lets them control the government. It will destroy Indigenous culture and cause more suffering, while letting them rob Australia via even more welfare.

There was also a minor schism when one spokesperson, Warren Mundine, started arguing to vote No becuase it didn't go far enough, which the white supporters obviously disagreed with.

The single best breakdown of the No sides belief is that just about all the major spokespeople have said, out loud, 'colonisation was good actually'. Just ignore the wholesale massacres, slavery, kidnapped children and at least one successful genocide.

Rall: #9 Democrat Takes on #1 Republican

Ted Rall posted:

Democrats make a strong argument that Donald Trump has authoritarian tendencies and might even want to replace our democratic republic with a dictatorship. They say that he is corrupt and dangerous. They argue that nothing is more important than to defeat him and prevent him from ever becoming president again. If all that is true, why are they insisting on renominating Joe Biden? He has stubbornly low approval ratings to the point that even most Democrats don’t want him to run again. Could it be that they don’t really want to win?
I'm assuming the ranking Rall is referencing is the one at YouGov. The most popular Democrat is Barack Obama but since he can't run, I guess Rall really wants them to run #2 Jimmy Carter. Also the #1 Republican can't run (Arnold Schwarznegger) so congratulations Ben Carson.

y-intercept = 0 so if you don't gently caress around you don't find out

I wouldn't say Garrison is a furry because that implies some level of self-awareness or participation in the community. He's the kinda guy where when he has a heart attack, his daughter's gonna find his secret stash buried deep in his sketchbooks, and it will bear no resemblance to any known furry art, it'll be just for him.

It'll be like Osamu Tezuka but like 100 times more deranged.

I mean they did vote with Matt, but not because they supported him. Why should the the Dems save McCarthy and the house GOP from tearing itself apart and showing how utterly incapable of governance they are.

Also, Mark Levin and other "establisment"-leaning GOP talking heads have been spending the last few days crowing that Gaetz is now practically a progressive Democrat socialist working hand-in-hand with AOC and Ilhan Omar to dismantle America, so they'd probably be running cartoons like that even without the photo-op.

It's funny how cartoonists are settling on "the bad guy from the first Incredibles" as their go-to caricature for him, though.
