ow2 is pure fun-poison Diablo 4 was really fun for the first 50 levels then immediately became "why am i doing this" once i beat the campaign blizzard can't make fun games anymore

I find it really fascinating that so many studios are more than happy to shut down their games or services when they stop being super profitable, and they usually don't release any sort of end of life patch to alleviate this. Like Nintendo shut down 3ds and Wiiu servers recently. They don't view their games as art and don't consider what they do as artistic: they are making product, and much like how you throw out a busted old TV they treat their games the same way. Epic and unreal is another example
