Surely the "esthetics" could've been improved while retaining the headline? How does a picture take priority over a headline when talking about news stories? People are supposed to either add their own summaries or just copy-and-paste the original headline? I don't understand how anyone, even Elon Musk, can think this an improvement. I must be missing something.

I used to think "citizen journalism" was cool and good before the covid pandemic, when here in Brazil far-right assholes started to invade hospitals and harass health workers filming all for youtube, to prove covid was fake and etc Like 10 years ago it was mostly the left who was skeptical of the mainstream media and favoring alternative, independent sources, and theres a lot of valid reasons for that, of course. But them the nazis hijacked the whole thing to flood the world with lies, their falsified version of reality Now is mostly "yeah, mainstream media is all lies, you got to be a fool to believe them! cause of course the earth is flat and covid never existed!"
