there is still a small but definitely-extant Marxist presence in the Palestinian liberation movement, with a couple of communist organizations still maintaining their own military wings with the ability to participate in actions they don't seem to be very large in absolute numbers and seem to limit their activity mostly to launching rockets in support of the operations of other, larger groups, but they weren't completely wiped out
