I'm sorry to hear that <3 it's painful isn't it. Was dating someone when the Ukraine war kicked off and it didn't last much longer than the first 12 hours of the invasion. After that I went very vocally anti-US/Ukr on FB to deliberately bait people into showing themselves and blocking me, just to clear house so it wouldn't happen again, as the breakup had hit me pretty hard. Feels great now though!

This sucks. had this with a Ukrainian friend who was otherwise very sweet and kind but just went on an absolute tear on social media harassing anyone of Russian ethnicity no matter how distant from or condemning of the war and telling them to kill themselves and poo poo. I have a lot of Russian friends so that wasn't cool with me! war sucks and tears people apart even far away from the front lines
