Mike McCarthy was busy losing playoff games with a Hall of Fame QB while he kicked FGs from the two yard line.

The Saints' uniform history is pretty terrible. The only past uniform I have a soft spot for were the early 90s ones with the big state of Louisiana patch on them. But all the stripe and color combinations were usually ok at best, ugly at worst.
