Standing at the withers will prevent you getting kicked, but not bit, bodychecked, etc. Honestly kind of surprised we were ever able to domesticate them at all. But a sweet gentle horse is one of the sweetest things you'll ever meet

Amazing money if you can handle the veterinary side. Also really loving deadly, as you'd expect.

When I was a kid my mom bought a pair of pixie wings at the Renaissance festival and put them on the cat and I'm pretty sure that cat would have happily starved to death in the middle of the living room rather than demeaning itself by moving with them on
