We got the last year of the Avalon, it's a hybrid and gets amazing mileage for what it is. It's a good car and I like it.

However it's my wife's daily, she commutes over 60 miles a day in traffic, and she's decided she hates it :v:

I made it through most of this summer with no AC, but only because I broke the line fitting the front mount then had to wait for decidedly non overnight parts from Japan AND get one of the FMIC end tanks modified to make clearance.

Still, beats the 3 times I've ripped the exhaust open this year.

Some quick math says that this would be in spec for the redline of the AMR (and the 2JZ). A problem that comes to mind is the firing order, assuming that each AMR is feeding a pair of cylinders. If it's a single manifold, good to go. edit: found the thread, from 2009.

Nah, she had an LS460 before that and she loved it, problem was it started needing (expensive) repairs and used way too much premium gas.

Her main problem is the seats, and going from a Lexus dealership to Toyota for issues and maintenance was a huge step down in customer service quality. They lied to her about loaner cars and she's still highly pissed about it.
