I've watched Abe vs Nomura 4 times since it aired a couple of days ago and sent it to everyone I know that watches wrestling, really takes me back to the first Abe match I saw back in 2021 when he took on Hikaru Sato for Jr Battle of Glory and both guys forgot it's supposed to be safe. Makes me all the more annoyed that SUWAMA had the loving genius to squash him in 20 seconds after a single dropkick during Royal Road

Akihiro Sahara (23) is a big boi, Homare Kato (19) will probably have to get a name change quickly (or Yoshiki Kato gets a character), and Dai Tsujiguchi (20) has managed to have an even less catchy name than Daiki Yanagiuchi. It'd be nice to see all 3 get debuts. Though with Daiki's debut pushed to this year, Ryoya in the summer, and Nishikawa/TNR coming back from Mexico recently, it doesn't feel like 2023 was starved for debuts even with Ryoya being the only 2023 trainee to make it. If anything it'll probably just mean more pre-show Future matches on the network.

Eruption will be vacating the KO-D 6 man titles when Akai retires on the 12th, there will be a one night tournament the next week to crown the new champs. They've also got one more defence of the AJPW 6 man titles to get through before they vacate those as well

Catching up with the show now, annoyed the Saito Brothers are showing up even more places I watch e: tearing up a bit watching Eruption make their entrance to face Akai and Hash, really going to miss Akai when she retires in a few weeks

Dragongate is sending Mochizuki Jr. and Yoshiki Kato to New Japan for their 11/4 Osaka show. I assume they'll be fighting juniors, but Kato's a pretty big dude.

I watched the Saito Bros vs Kento/Yuma match and I was getting into it, the Saito Bros were surprisingly over and the crowd booed everything Kento and Yuma did (one of which was ripping up a flyer during the balcony brawl) but holy gently caress it went on and on and I checked Cagematch and it went for 37 minutes?? What
