That said, I think the issue is that really neither side have a sizable advantage over the other and that includes when the carriers arrive. Hezbollah and the other militas/Iranian forces can put up a real fight but they probably can't knock out the IAF and the 2 carrier battle groups, but the US/Israel may not have the active aircraft and munitions to do the same. Israel is bombing Gaza with iron bombs because that is what they can do at this point but it isn't enough to win the war and/or ethically cleanse Gaza. The US and Israel is trying to delay aid as long as possible because they know it may stabilize things for civilians, and they don't want that. There isn't an easy way out for either side and it is unclear if any side can get an advantage.
