I do think that the population of bigots has shrunk, and if that population wasn't genuinely terrified of becoming the permanent minority, than they wouldn't have become even louder and dumber since W. What Turnmp did prove, however, is that fascism will always be attractive to idiots looking for simple answers, and until people "evolve" beyond that, we're all probably pretty well hosed. So um.
