Like he had his supporters but they were all like "eh he's the most electable". Even Buttigieg, Harris, etc had way more enthusiastic support online. Not long after Biden won the nomination that all changed. Suddenly people were making memes about how cool Biden is or whatever. Suddenly there was enthusiasm online for him, and a lot of it. I think some of that is just bot activity, but the bigger part is that a large chunk of the Democratic voting base talked themselves into being hard-core Biden supporters. I say all this because it's always felt very forced and inorganic, and that's because it is. Real life human beings convinced themselves that Biden was the most epic guy ever. And since they've been doing it for years now it's on autopilot.
