I hesitate to ever link these clowns, but I'm curious if anyone has seen any pushback on this matter?

If they're wrong it'll be because the evidence is fake and massively embarassing. If they're right it is, admittley, a very bad look for Biden.

To be clear it isn't a fraction of what they've accused and it happened while he was out of office, but it does seem sketch.

Edit': oh okay nm looked a bit more and a massive nothing burger. James Biden owed Joe that money because Joe had let him the money previously.

Still gross influence peddling on James Biden's behalf but nothing beyond normal gross nepotism that is human nature.

Since every accusation is a confession I guess we should be looking at republicans who receive "loan repayments" from family members that is actually a foreign government funneling them money.

I mean we already know several Republican members of congress (and the Trumps) received PPP loans that they should not have.

Loves his son(s). The problem is he should keep loving the dead one and disown the one that's alive and has substance abuse issues because that's what Jesus would do.

Honestly we're in this timeline I think because Beau Biden died. I don't know if Biden would have ran in 2020 if he was alive and Biden might have run in 2016 instead.

Biden probably still wouldn't've run in 2016, and if he had he would've lost. Everyone knew it was Hillary's turn and Obama communicated this to Biden directly.

According to the initial link:

"According to bankruptcy court documents, James Biden received these loans “based upon representations that his last name, ‘Biden,’ could ‘open doors’ and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.”

So basically the same poo poo hunter Biden did (hoping to curry favor through nepotism) and considerably less than what Kushner probably did.

The Kirin 9000 (the processor of the Mate 60) at least probably wasn't done by SMIC, at least without somehow getting EUV, IMO. DUV has its limits, and I'm skeptical that they could multipattern all the way to a 7nm-equivalent node on a large enough scale.

Good. If we can't get these festering assholes to care about the rest of the country then there's at least a slim chance they'll do something out of self-interest. What they'll try to do is go back to summoning the leopards on their enemies, so no turning other cheeks on this poo poo. They've had people screaming in their faces for years how bad this is for the country and they've proved every step of the way they're ok with it.

At the very, very least if they're infighting they're not focusing outwards and that's the closest to a win that's likely in the world today.

Eh, there is still plenty of fingerpointing at Dems for not saving McCarthy's speakership. Apparently it's nobody's fault the Republicans have a narrow majority and an effectively broken caucus, it's up to the Democrats to ensure the continued functioning of government.

The nerve of these democrats that are adamant that they want Hakeem Jeffries to be speaker not voting for our guy instead when that idiot from Florida called a confidence vote and then unanimously casting every subsequent speaker vote for Jeffries like they've done 18 or so times this congress already.

I've got a better idea, why not have 5 Rs vote for Jeffries next time since it seems to me he's the speaker designate at this point who keeps getting the most votes through all these do overs.

I'm legit curious how long it's been since someone crossed party lines in an affirmative vote for speaker that passed. When did a GOP rep vote for a Democrat, or vice versa? I looked at Pelosi's last vote and Republicans voted in lockstep against her, unsurprisingly.

Im not going to say it never happened before, maybe it did a long time ago, but voting for the other party for speaker without permission would probably mean you are not in the party any longer. You may as well switch or declare independent. We dont really have the "3 line whip" from British parliament, but if we did, this vote would be it.

I saw it came up several pages back in this thread and I missed that discussion… but if you see shrink being used interchangeably with shop lifting in a political discussion that is an indication that person either is an idiot or a liar.

Shoplifting is a component of shrink. Larger categories inside shrink are employee theft and theft during transportation. The thing that’s actually seriously increasing is theft during transportation, that’s why shrink is up.
