A U.S. official said on Tuesday that U.S. intelligence officials have "high confidence" that the explosion was caused by a Palestinian rocket that broke up mid-flight, and not by Israel.

There is still uncertainty around the death toll from the hospital blast and the number of injuries, U.S. officials said.

I'm trying to think of what sort of language would be used in a paper to discuss the topic, but it's not a new issue. The US military is incredibly expensive, but it has to police a world wide empire. There isn't a feasible way to meet that obligation, even without the excessive MIC grift.

I wonder what percent of American Jews support Israel's current actions. Orthodox Jews are pretty Zionist, but that's a small minority of Jews. Even in 2020, only 1/3 of Jews thought Israel was making any effort towards a peaceful solution with Palestine.
