Funny as poo poo skit, A++ reference.

I also enjoyed something my wife showed me in one of her books. It was a modern-magic setting and one of the characters is talking to the devil. The topic of Canada comes up and the devil gets all excited about the deal he made with the country way back when. The reason they're so polite is he agreed to a ritual to take their anger, impoliteness, and negative energy, then concentrate all of it in their geese so it's away from the people.

I was listening to a podcast and one of the comedian hosts was telling a story that they just worked a gig being a coach at Jay Leno's and Adam Carolla's stand up comedy camp (neither of them were actually there), and one of the comic wannabes who paid $6k to be there asked "why can't i say the n word?" when performing, and it turned out to be Norm Pattis.

The Sandy Hook parents will absolutely get most of his money (he owes them like 10x his entire net worth), eventually. He's tried doing shell games with his money to hide it, but bankruptcy courts are absolutely wise to that poo poo and are working to untangle his finances and track down the cash he's tried to squirrel away.

Capitol: A building or complex of buildings in which any legislature meets.
Capital: A city designated as a legislative seat by the government or some other authority, often the city in which the government is located; otherwise the most important city within a country or a subdivision of it.

Some very large lump sums at the start then once the good stuff has been sold off they'll get smaller payments every time Jones gets enough money to drag his head above water.

Courts are slow and they take some time to do their due diligence but ultimately the courts have decided against Alex Jones having money. Right now they're also letting him basically use up every appeal and "one weird trick" he can think of so he doesn't get off with an appeal later.

I found a Hollywood Reporter article that covers the same event, but is much kinder to the participants … but then again, it was written by a participant.

There is some choice Norm cringe in there, though, e.g.: “some of the most beautiful women in the class offered to buy me drinks.”

Right wing standup comedy just does NOT work.

It's just a cringefest. All punching down and angry. That's why there are exactly zero current famous right wing standup comics.

Everything I've seen from the Babylon Bee is low hanging fruit non-joke trash. Just observational...... observations. No actual jokes. No setup and punchline.

All the right wing comedians are like the old classic "What's the deal with airline food?" But it's "What's the deal with black people leeching off of all of us? Am I right? lol"

I think there was supposed to be an implied tense relationship there : there are several people who were famous comedians who are now right wing, but there are no right wingers who are now famous comedians.

Right but uh... how are they doing? Not in a personal financial way, but rather who actually gives a poo poo about any of these people and do you even know anyone who watches them?

I mean, Maher has been a washed up ex-liberal has-been for a decade, Breuer never was a "been" besides some dumb poo poo on SNL and Half-Baked, and Carolla hasn't been relevant since Loveline.

Not really selling out stadiums or anything.

Breuer is now a member of Steven Crowder’s Mug Club, along with Bryan Callen and Nick DiPaolo.

Incidentally, I watched the NewsRadio episode again last month with Joe’s brothers who constantly fight. 2/3 of them are played by Callen and DiPaolo. Threw me off so much when I saw them after the Crowder thing.
