One of ya'll that gets an M3 Macbook Pro needs to try firing up FFXIV on it and let me know how it runs on a high refresh ultrawide display. After rolling with my M1 Macbook Air for a little while now I'm...tempted to get one to replace my daily driver desktop PC which is mostly used for that and RDPing into my work laptop. Retire the old desktop to a NAS build or something.

If you don’t need the increase in GPU it’s doubtful most people could even tell the difference between an M1 and a M3. on an M1, almost everything opens instantly anyways.

I love it this is the Son Of BlackBook I’ve wanted all along and the thin bezels on the 14” display means it’s dimensionally closer to my old 2007 C2D black polycarb model than the 13” Midnight Air is, although a less fingerprinty Midnight would still be kinda preferable to me
